MAN the clear winner in Technical Control Board report on commercial vehicles
The current report on commercial vehicles issued by the Technical Control Board (TÜV) shows trucks from MAN's TG family without exception in the leading positions. By comparison with their competitors, the trucks of the TGL, TGM, TGS and TGX ranges were outstanding, having the lowest defect ratios of all one- to five-year-old vehicles.

MAN receives eCarTec Award 2012
The innovative MAN Metropolis research vehicle has been distinguished by being selected as the recipient of the eCarTec Award 2012. In the course of the 4th International Fair for Electric- and Hybrid-Mobility in Munich, Bavaria's State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology, Katja Hassel, presented the Bavarian State Award for Electric Mobility to Bernd Maierhofer, Director of Research and Development at MAN Truck & Bus AG.

Dynamic and clearly arranged: MAN wins iF Gold Award 2012 for IAA appearance
MAN Truck & Bus' appearance at the world's largest commercial-vehicle show, the IAA in Hanover, has brought the company the renowned "iF communication design award 2012". One of over 1,000 projects entered for the competition, MAN's stand at the IAA 2010 carried off the top accolade in the "corporate architecture" category - an encouragement for MAN's appearance at the world's largest commercial-vehicle show, the IAA 2012, which will be held in Hanover in September.
MAN is involved in the UR:BAN research initiative
Together with partners from industry and science, MAN Truck & Bus will be working until the end of 2015 on development of innovative driver assistance and travel management systems for urban areas.
