For the exterior, there are improved aerodynamics and a familiar look, whilst in the interior the driver can enjoy high-quality seats and advanced ergonomics. With its blend of comfort and functionality, the LX high cab defines the standard in long-haul transport.
For use in national and international long-haul transport, a comprehensively equipped cab with adequate headroom and room to move around is available for two drivers – a novelty in this class.
The comfortable interior, including the exclusive choice of seats, the new multifunction steering wheel fitted as standard and a diverse range of stowage compartments and storage optimises the driver's workplace. Above the front windscreen there are an additional two closed stowage compartments which can also hold larger objects such as holdalls or clothes. In addition, the generous space available enables two wide comfortable bunk beds (bottom 749 mm, top 645 mm) with a new lighter aluminium frame to be fitted, allowing drivers to sleep in a high degree of comfort.
The long cabs can be equipped with a central pull-out stowage box. Especially convenient is the space-saving fitted refrigerator with fast-removal flap.
The LX cab has an infotainment system comprising an RDS radio (Radio Data Service) and MP3-compatible CD-Player integrated as standard. It offers many useful features such as easy navigation and storage of traffic messages.
