The key development focus was upon excellent aerodynamics - and simultaneously spacious cab dimensions. Attention was given to safety through better all-round vision and optimised outside mirrors.
Quieter: the new acoustics concept and favourable aerodynamics significantly reduce the interior noise level. Drivers find it easier to concentrate on their work, especially in long-distance traffic.
Chrome and high gloss
The dynamic, self-contained exterior identifies dozens of new features: from the aerodynamic A-pillar trims through new LED indicator lights or position lights right up to the sleek, black radiator grille finished in chrome and high-gloss.
Comfort in the cab is no luxury
This is ensured by the 25 % reduction in wind and room noises when driving and the modern revised interior design. Storage spaces are positioned ergonomically, instruments clearly arranged, switches and drink holder are easily within reach. The XXL cab sets new standards: the infotainment system comprising a RDS radio (Radio Data Service) and MP3 CD player with many useful features to make driving safe and navigation effective are integrated as standard equipment. The most important system functions can be operated over the multifunction steering wheel.
Quality living and life on the road
Being on the road in the XXL cab stands for high living and life quality: the upgraded air conditioning with low air flow noise and the spacious interior contribute to making the stay in the vehicle pleasant, restful and stress-free, particularly when the journey extends over several days. Comfort at night is provided by the revised bed concept: the comfortable mattresses, large lying areas and formfitting slatted frames ensure that sleep is deep and comfortable.
The lion king - the TGX V8
The XXL cab has been given an upgraded optical appearance and fitted with high-class standard equipment for the TGX V8 top model. Distinctive external identifiers include the V8 logos on the front and side, the special exhaust damper fairing as well as the exclusive aluminium wheel rims with V-spoke design. The interior equipment package includes luxurious leather seats, with embossed V8 script and stepped ornamental stitching, or carbon-fibre-look applications on the instrument panel. The turns the cab into a class of its own among TGX cabs.
