Stefanie Hoffmann

is a dual student in operational HR management at MAN. There, she supervises interns and thesis authors in talent management.

Dear Stefanie, what do you actually do at MAN?

I'm doing a dual study program in operational HR management at MAN. This means that during the semester breaks, but also during the practical semester, I can consolidate the theoretical content of the Munich University of Applied Sciences in practice and also gain insights into various HR departments at MAN.

What are your responsibilities in internship supervision?

I am completing my internship semester in talent management in the intern support department. My tasks include the support of interns and thesis authors from the application process until their departure. This includes operational tasks, such as SAP input, administrative tasks, such as organizing and running the induction event, but also creative challenges in updating the intranet site, where I can contribute and implement my ideas.

What does MAN's internship program offer?

At MAN you can complete both your voluntary and your mandatory internship from university. The duration of a mandatory internship depends on your study regulations, while the period of a voluntary internship is flexible from one to three months. It is also possible to combine a voluntary internship and a compulsory internship, or to write a thesis with us after your internship.

What does an intern need to bring with them?

You have to be motivated and want to gain practical experience in an international group in addition to theoretical knowledge. Then you've come to the right place! We offer many different internships and positions for final theses in all departments. Here you can gain insights into areas and tasks and prepare yourself for your future career.
