Know-how – thanks to an internship

Show the world what you’ve got to offer – and join a leading international technology company to start gaining valuable work experience during your studies. A three- to six-month internship gives you the opportunity to truly benefit by acquiring genuine practical know-how. The tasks generally include a mixture of project activity and everyday operational business. Once you have your degree in the bag, this amount of extracurricular involvement will be sure to give you an advantage when applying for jobs.

Put the icing on the cake by finishing your studies with a practice-based thesis: we’re happy to assist you with this. You decide the subject area you’d like to cover. You can in principle write your thesis in all departments at MAN. You’ll find that we give you an outstanding business environment to do this, with access to all our resources, intensive supervision and integration into the company's operations. So you’ll have the ideal conditions for an excellent degree.

Working students

Do you want to gain vocational experience on the side and finance your own studies? As a working student at MANyou’re directly involved in projects and assist our experts with their work on our products. Apply your theoretical knowledge in practise and hone your skills. And who knows, there may even be the opportunity to subsequently write your thesis with us.

Our study grants are worthwhile

Are you on an internship, working as a student assistant or writing your bachelor's thesis at MAN and performing well?Then your subject supervisor can propose that you receive a MAN study grant. Our personnel department will then initiate a corresponding selection process.

We use this funding programme to assist you professionally and personally during your studies. All of the current 60 MAN students with grants are each supported by mentoring from the technical and personnel departments – and regularly receive invitations to events and factory tours. We also assist you financially and fund any stays abroad.
