Breaking into a new dimension: MAN Nutzfahrzeuge sells more than 100,000 trucks and buses for the first time

In 2007 the MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Group sold more than 100,000 trucks and buses for the first time in its history and achieved a record operative result for the third year in succession: it rose by 49 per cent in 2007 to € 1,039 million. Turnover grew by 20 per cent to € 10.4 billion (2006: € 8.7 billion), the fifth record figure in a row. The return on sales (ROS) increased from 8.0 to 10.0 per cent (+ 2 percentage points).

Especially the new TGX and TGS truck ranges launched in the autumn of last year are setting standards in terms of transport efficiency. They were voted "Truck of the Year 2008" by an international jury of trade journalists and won the "red.dot: best of the best" international design prize.

For 2008 further growth is expected in unit sales, turnover and earnings.
